10 Little Toes

I wanted to share this baby card with you.  My cousins recently had an adorable baby boy and I have a friend who is also expecting a boy too. I will do something different for that one but can't post until much later!!

I used the "Baby Prints" from the Occasions Mini (don't forget items only available until the end of April!)  I stamped the feet & hands, cut both out using my fabulous paper snips, makes things so much easier.  I popped up the feet on the front and the hands on the inside.

The greeting was stamped & punched using the Curly Label Punch.  I adhered to the front with a Marina Mist Brad to match of course!  The strip of Designer Paper is from the "Stacks" collection of Subtles.  It is Bashful Blue sponged with Marina Mist.  I put a strip on the inside of the paper as well.

Hope you enjoy!  Happy Stamping.
Heather

Summer Smooch New Catty Sneak Peak

I love sneak peaks!  The card below was actually inspired by the Mojo Monday sketch challenge 236.  I didn't actually go with their circle, I just couldn't get what I was going for so changed it slightly but I loved this idea of the layout.

I used the new Sneak Peak Summer Smooches Stamp Set, Designer Paper, Fabric Brads & Ribbon!

I started with the Daffodil Delight background/cardbase.  I cut two strips of Designer Paper and one piece of Tempting Turquoise that I ran through the big shot with the Polka Dots Embossing Folder.  I wrapped the Daffodil Delight Seam Binding Ribbon around the top and adhered down.

I used a Tempting Turquoise & Lucky Limeade Marker to colour the vase & greenery of the stamp then pierced a hole for the matching & fabulous Fabric Brad.  Note that the Brads & Stencil available during this promotion are only available until the end of April, everything else will be in the new catalogue.

The sentiment is from "Short & Sweet" stamped in Tempting Turquoise, this stamp set is actually retiring at the end of May.  Yes, May, as you may recall me mentioning that the current Stampin' Up! Idea Book & Catalogue will now end in May instead of June.  The retired list of stamp sets is now out and you can see the retired list of accessories on April 25th.

See the Summer Smooches Promotion & Retired list of Stamps through my Stampin' Up! website at http://www.heatherfosbery.stampinup.net/

I have also updated a list of classes so RSVP today!

Happy Stamping & Enjoy!

Classic Case - Butterfly Card

This card was cased from Mary Fish over at Stampin' Pretty.  She is such a talented lady and I hope very much to meet her when I go to Convention in July.  I am so excited to go, I have never been before so I am sure I will be busy doing SWAP cards soon enough!

This card uses the Attic Boutique Designer Paper (as you can tell a new favourite!)  The butterfly is actually a punched out flower with the Blossom Punch in the Occasions Mini.  You just snip off a petal on each side and voila, a butterfly!  The butterfly brad is from the Everyday Enchantment Brad & Ribbon Bundle.

To finish off the card Soft Suede Taffeta Ribbon was added as well as the sentiment.  Teeny Tiny Wishes is a great stamp set to have, it has every greeting you would need plus they fit perfectly into the Modern Label Punch or the Word Window Punch!

Enjoy & Happy Stamping!  Heather

With Sale-a-bration almost over I wanted to post another fun card I did called a Pinwheel Card using the Everyday Enchantment Designer Paper (as well as Attic Boutique)  These are fun cards to make.  For detailed instructions please feel free to email me.

The Poppy Parade Background was stamped with the large En Francais Stamp.  I love this background stamp, I use it often and gives a nice soft script.  The greeting is from Elementary Elegance and was stamped with Early Expresso.  Taffeta ribbon to match of course!

In the middle of the pinwheel is a brad from the Everyday Enchantment Brad & Ribbon Bundle and then it was popped up using Stampin' Dimensionals.

It isn't too late to get those Sale-a-bration items!  Order online at http://www.heatherfosbery.stampinup.net/ and go to "Shop Now" or send me an email and I can help you out.

I hope you enjoy and Happy Stamping! Heather

Triple Treat Flower - Quick & Easy

I wanted to share this card in two slightly different ways, the only changes are the ribbon, brad and then the flower colours are reversed.  The Stamp Set is called Triple Treat Flower and it is a single stamp.  You can actually earn it free right now during Sale-a-bration or it is also available for purchase in the Big Idea Book & Catalogue.  Remember, the catalogue will now go until the end of May and the new Catalogue will be released on June 1st instead of July 1st.  How exciting!!

I used soft colours to go with the Attic Boutique Designer Paper, when I first saw this paper I have to admit I wasn't completed sold but then started to play and it became a new favourite.  It is in the current Occasions Mini.  The flower was stamped twice first in Pool Party and then Soft Suede.  The layers are punched using the Fancy Flower & 5 Petal Punch (the 1/2 inch circle also matches this flower)  The brads are from the Everday Enchantment Brad & Ribbon Bundle.

The greetings are from a great stamp set called Short & Sweet and was stamped in Soft Suede.  This a handy one to have because it covers the basic greetings but also has cute little images to go with them!

I hope you enjoy!

Sale-a-bration with Fresh Vintage

There is still time to take part in Sale-a-bration or get that Stamp Set or Paper or other special freebie!  The sale ends March 31st so contact me today or order online!  It is also a great time to sign up or buy the starter kit too, everything is on sale with more freebies!

The card below uses the Sale-a-bration Stamp Set called Fresh Vintage, this is my favourite set and goes perfectly with the Everday Enchantment Designer Paper as well as the Brad & Ribbon Bundle.  I used the Designer Paper below to create a fun background behind the flower image (coloured with Stampin' Write Markers)

It is hard to tell in the picture but there is a slight shimmer to the card.  By mixing Shimmer Paint with Rubbin Alcohol you can make your own spritz to give a shimmery effect to any card.  The Poppy Parade Layer was also sponged with our Stampin' Sponges to give a bit of texture to the card.

Finally, have to finish off with a bit of ribbon and greeting of course, this one is from Elementay Elegance which is also a Sale-a-bration Stamp Set.  Again, not too late to take advantage of this great sale!

Enjoy and Happy Stamping!  Heather

Birthday Card Sale-a-bration Style

Sale-a-bration is definitely one of my favourite times of the Stampin' Up! Year because you get that extra bonus of a free stamp set, paper, ribbon the choices are endless!  I love getting FREE stuff.  There is still time to order, you can easily do it online at http://www.heatherfosbery.stampinup.net/ or send me an email!  Sale ends March 31st

Here is a birthday card we did using punches with fabulous Everyday Enchantment Designer Series Paper and the Outlined Occasions Stamp Set.  First we stamped the greeting in Black Ink and then coloured using Pool Party & Lucky Limeade Stampin' Write Markers.  Then adhered a strip from the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Punch with a layer of matching ribbon (from Everyday Enchantment Ribbon & Brad Bundle) behind the piece of Vanilla Cardstock and adhered to the Pool Party layer.

The presents were punched out using the 1 1/4 inch square punch and layered onto a punched Vanilla 1 3/8 inch square punch layer.  The bow is actually from one of our fabulous Layering Punches.  It is called Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer.  These are set to three different choices so the last one was selected, trimmed and adhered behind the present.  They are popped up using Stampin' Dimensionals to add a little depth.  Super Quick & Easy Card, punches make life so much simpler.  Enjoy!

Happy Stamping!  Heather

10 days Left to Sale-a-brate!

I can't believe the beautiful weather we have been having here in the Ottawa area, it is like summer!  March will soon be over as well as Sale-a-bration but it is not too late to take advantage of the greatest promotion of the year!

For every $60 you spend (before tax & shipping) you earn a free Sale-a-bration product, how awesome is that?  I have displayed below the Fresh Vintage Stamp Set as well as the Everyday Enchantment Paper & Brad with Ribbon Bundle.  You can earn these for free!!  Order anytime online through my website at www.heatherfosbery.stampinup.net and clicking "Shop Now" or email me as well!

As well, if you sign up to become a demo or purchase the Starter Kit during Sale-a-bration you will also be rewarded with a Designer Paper Pack (of your choice) each month for the rest of the year!!  Plus the Kit is only $150 (regular $215)  You get to pick & choose your goodies (some items are standard)  Contact me today or sign up online at my Stampin' Up! Website at www.heatherfosbery.stampinup.net

So, to the card!  It is a square 4 1/2 by 4 1/2 inch card so you could use a square envelope or a standard because it fits into both!  I started with Calypso Coral for the background, added a sponged vanilla layer and then a layer of Designer Paper (SAB's Everyday Enchantment)

I stamped the Fresh Vintage Image 4 times in Pool Party and punched using the 1 1/4 inch square.  The flowers were punched with the 1/2 inch Circle.  This stamp set also goes with the Postage Square Punch.  I absolutely love this stamp set and the coordinating paper, ribbon & brads.

I finished off with some ribbon & a bow then added a bit of bling by using the Illuminating Top Coat Smooch (works kinda like putting on nail polish!) to let the flower sparkle.  Of course, no surprise the Modern Label Punch was used to pop out the Birthday Greetings (from On Your Birthday)  Voila!  Quick & Easy but the secret is ours!

Happy Stamping!  Heather

Fabulous Bridal Card

Here is a great Bridal Shower or Wedding Card using the new set from the Occasions Mini called Love & Laughter.  The wedding dress was inked in Versamark and embossed with White Embossing Powder.  Basic Pearls were added to the waist, mine are slightly crooked :)  I included a close up this time around!

The layers were cut using the Big Shot with the Labels Collection Dies and a strip of embossed paper sits behind and yes, it was using the Snow Burst Embossing Folder, more uses than just for the holidays!  The greeting was stamped in Basic Gray from Loving Thoughts and then two flowers were punched from Silver Glimmer Paper (carried over from the Holiday Mini!) using the flower punch from the Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack, then pearls added to the middle.

We actually did this card at a shoebox swap, I added an extra layer and sponged the edges.  This is a great Demonstrator Event we do and Sale-a-bration is the perfect time to sign up to become a demo or purchase the starter kit, in addition to the sale, you will also get a free pack of designer paper each month, for the rest of the year!  Email today at hfosbery@gmail.com for more details on how to sing up plus there is an extra bonus from me!

Happy Stamping!  Heather

Bordering with Twitterpated

I am sorry I have been absent for a couple of weeks, I have been under the weather which can be a funny term because the weather lately has been a lot of sunshine!  Helps a bit!  Slowly getting into things so promise to post more often.

I wanted to share a very quick & easy card, if you don't have a Big Shot to cut out from the Labels Collection, not to worry, you could put anything there.  The designer paper is Twitterpated from the new Occasions Mini, love this paper, plus, all the new pleated ribbon matches very nicely!  Here I have used Baja Breeze as my background and Ribbon.  I added a little Twitterpated Designer Button with a glue dot (you get two different styles in two colours, Baja Breeze & Blushing Bride)  The greeting is from Petite Pairs, a great greeting set, has all the greetings you need plus you can use your Decorative Label Punch a different way to punch the messages out (will post something soon with that one!)

The flowers from "Bordering on Romance" were stamped in Basic Gray and then coloured with Baja Breeze, Pear Pizzazz and Blushing Bride.  Basic Rhinestones were added to the centers of the flowers and I know I should have taken a close up of this one but they are actually coloured blue!  All you need to do is colour our Basic Rhinestones with a Sharpie and you have a coloured Rhinestone, how cool is that?  I think pretty awesome.  You can also do this with our Basic Pearls.

Enjoy & Happy Stamping

Valentine Hearts

This is a quick & easy Valentine's Day Card.  I actually did this at a Shoebox Swap and loved the idea. These are always great events as you get great ideas and get to share as well, added perks to being a demonstrator!  With so many of us I am not sure who designed some of the cards but they all did a great job.  Purchase the Starter Kit & Sign up during Sale-a-bration and you also get an added bonus of picking a new Designer Paper Pack for the rest of the year!  Contact me today for more details.

This card uses the new Embosslits Die "Fashionable Hearts" from the Occasions Mini Catalogue.  The outside was embossed with the Framed Tulip Embossing Folder (which you can use in many ways)

If you don't have a Big Shot you could also use the Heart To Heart Punch or even use the "Small Heart" Punch outs.  I don't usually like Pink & Red together but Valentine's Day is definitely a time to mix it up.

I added the Real Red 1/8 inch Taffeta Ribbon and sponged the edges.  Some of the Hearts are popped up to add extra dimension and it is a perfect way to use up scraps of Designer Paper.  This card uses the Patterns Designer Series Paper Stacks in Brights & Subtles.  These are awesome Designer Paper Packages, you get a lot of bang for your buck.  The greeting is from "Petite Pairs" and stamped in Real Red Classic Ink.

Enjoy & Happy Stamping.  Heather

Today is my Sale-a-bration Kick Off Party & Garage Sale.  So excited, have a good group turning out today and will share more pictures this week.  I did want to post our make & takes that we did today.

The first card is a version of an earlier post.  It uses the Sale-a-Bration Everyday Enchantment Designer Paper as well as the Ribbon & Brad Bundle, you can earn these free by placing orders of $60 or more.  The card also uses the Mixed Bunch Stamp Set & Blossom Punch from the new Occasions Mini Catalogue and course, the Modern Label Punch, a favourite of mine.  The flower was stamped & punched twice, the first one was adhered to the card front and then the second one is popped up and curled (using a bone folder)

The second card uses the Fresh Vintage Stamp Set and the greeting is from Elementary Elegance Stamp Set(will post a Pool Party version tomorrow)  Of course, I have also used Everyday Enchantment Designer Paper again as well as the Ribbon.  The Ribbon comes in Lucky Limeade & Calypso Coral and is 1/8 inch Organdy Ribbon.  The brads in this package are also amazing with colours that coordinate well with the ribbon and the Paper Packs.  So many options with the SAB Mini this year!

The Sale-a-bration bonuses don't stop there either, you can host your own workshop or class and you can earn a free Tote (it is very cool) plus qualifying workshops can also earn bundles now!  As well, if you purchase the starter kit (by signing up) you also will get a Free Package of Designer Paper Every Month, that is right, every month!  How awesome is that?  I am offering an extra bonus for hostesses & new sign ups so contact me today for more information!

Vintage Vogue Friend Cards

My Mom asked me to do a small package of cards for her to bring to a friend she is staying with next week while she is in Sunny Florida.  I did a variety and also brought out and re-did some cards I did last year using Vintage Vogue.  I have to use this set more often because it is a good one for sure, very versatile.  I actually submitted the second one to Stampin' Up! for a contest and received a free stamp set because I came in second place, I have to enter more of those so there will be plenty more posts to come.

The first card it might be difficult to see in the picture but the background was stamped with En Francais, Vintage Vogue & of course sponged, before it was adhered to the cardbase it was spritzed with a mixture of alcohol & the Champagne Shimmer Paint (the Frost White Shimmer Paint works well too)  As well, the original idea came from another talented demo.

The second card which was my crowing glory last year, even though it was second place, was very excited.  The background is the coordinating Jumbo Wheel "Very Vintage"  I stamped the Friends Stamp in Pretty in Pink first and then on scrap in Rose Red so I could cut out & pop up the "F" as well as the flowers, I love dimension!

Enjoy!  Tomorrow is the Sale-a-bration Kick Off Open House & Garage Sale so I will be posting our make & takes and then more pictures next week.

Happy Stamping!  Heather

Sweet Shop Designer Stickers - Quick & Easy Cards

The new Occasions Mini Catalogue has tons of new products including Designer Stickers which are awesome and easy to use.  They match perfectly with the Sweet Shop Designer Paper as well as the brads and matching stamp sets.  This is one of the major reasons I love SU products, everything matches.  The Stickers are great and can be used for quick cards or scrapbook pages.  I can't wait to share these!  I actually have a package with some paper as one of my door prize/raffle bundles to hand out at my Sale-a-bration Kick Off Party on Sunday, January 22nd at 1:30, contact me today to sign up or you can RSVP through my SU site as http://www.heatherfosbery.stampinup.net/

For the cards below, I used a basic layout for the cards below, always like to layer my cards, add a bit of designer paper or flair.  I sponged the edges with the coordinating colours.  Punched my greeting from the new Sweet Cake Stamp Set with the Modern Label Punch (again a must have!)  I also added another favourite, ribbon, I used the new Pool Party Seam Binding Ribbon.

Happy Stamping!  Heather

Here is an altered version of one of the cards we will do next weekend.  The flower is from Mixed Bunch and punched using the new Blossom Punch.  There are actually two flowers punched out.  The first was adhered to the card base, the second one I took a bone folder to curl the edges of the flower.  An Everyday Enchantment Brad was placed in the middle before popping up on the first flower.

I also used the Everyday Enchantment Designer Paper (so fabulous and love this paper!) and the ribbon.  The two strips of Lucky Limeade down the side of the DS Paper is the new SAB Organdy Ribbon, you get a roll of Lucky Limeade & Calypso Coral plus 30 awesome brads available as a SAB item.

Looking forward to seeing you next Sunday.

Mouthwatering Cards

Welcome Stampers! I am just getting this blog going so please be patient as I am new at this, I do have a blog portion under my Stampin' Up! website at www.heatherfosbery.stampinup.net but both will be the same shortly. Appreciate your patience as I set things up but wanted to start posting ideas to share with all of you.

The New Occasions Mini is here! I have included a couple of cards below using some fun, brand new products.

Don't forget to sign up for my Sale-a-bration Kick Off Celebration Open House on Sunday, January 22nd at Brown's Independent Grocer in Stittsville. It is only $5 to attend, make & takes, refreshments, lots of door prizes PLUS an amazing sale from myself and of course Stampin' Up's biggest sale of the year, Sale-a-bration. For every dollar you spend on old merchandise (my retired products stock pile!) you will get a credit to spend on new merchandise! So 2 for 1 Sale! Plus for every $60 you spend you get a Sale-a-bration item so technically it is a like a 3 for 1 sale! Email me today or give me a call. You can also RSVP through my Stampin' Up! website at www.heatherfosbery.stampinup.net

Now back to the cards! I used the new stamp set called Mouthwatering, it goes very well with our new scented embossing powders (yeah, no more mixing sugar less Kool Aid to get a smell!) This is so much easier and comes in three different scents, Vanilla, Melon & Cherry. I coloured the Ice Cream Cone using the SW Markers and stamped extra tops to cut out with my paper snips & then popped them up for added dimension.

The designer paper is the new Sweet Shop Speciality Designer Series Paper, this is awesome and yummy paper. Two of the sheets are embossed too! It goes perfectly with this stamp set, our new stickers (pictures to come) and Sweet Cake but also goes great with some older stamp sets as well. I used the new Wisteria Wonder Baker's Twine to separate the two Designer Papers and adhered a bow, if you notice, there is actually two pieces of twine in each section. Greeting was punched using the Modern Label Punch which is a favourite of mine & see it as a must have item.

I displayed an optional version below as well. Ice Cream Anyone?

Enjoy& Happy Stamping!
Heather
